Melaka Waterfront
Taken in Melaka (Malacca), Malaysia while taking a scenic boat cruise. The tall ship seen in the photo is actually the Samudera Museum which showcases the history of Melaka. It was built to model the Portuguese ship 'Flor de la Mar'. The ship sank off the Northern coast of Sumatra on its way home containing golds and other treasures after pillaging Melaka in 1511.

Malacca Clock Tower
Dutch Square, also known as The Stadthuys, was once a centre of the Dutch administration in Melaka and housed the quarters of its governors and officers. This red building was built between 1641 and 1660 on the ruins of a Portuguese fort, by using bricks imported from Zecland, and is believed to be the oldest Dutch building in the East.
