This town is full of bright, eye punching color, be the the man powered tricycle taxi, building... down to these cute wooden chinese slipper! I'm wondering if this is how the local call the city.. "me-la-ka" and not malaka.
Chinese has been coming to Malacca to trade way earlier than the Europeans. Malacca was frequently visited by the infamous Chinese admiral named Cheng Ho.
Cheng Ho's first expedition (1405-1407) consisted of 62 ships; four were huge wood boats, some of the largest ever built in history.
